Greg Mesack Named NAFCU Senior VP for Government Affairs

Greg Mesack, a lobbyist with the firm of GrayRobinson, has been named senior vice president of government affairs at the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions.

In that position, he will lead the trade group’s legislative, political, regulatory, compliance assistance, research and economic divisions.

“As Congress and the Administration continues to work on policies to facilitate an economic recovery, I’m confident that Greg’s extensive experience will allow him to effectively advocate the credit union difference to policymakers and continue to build on our successes,” NAFCU President/CEO B. Dan Berger said.

Before joining GrayRobinson, Mesack worked at the Eris Group. He also served as vice president of government affairs for America’s Community Bankers, as well as an aide on Capitol Hill.

Mesack holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Miami University.
